Tom Brady and Antonio Brown are two of the most polarizing figures in the NFL, each for very different reasons. Brady is quite possibly the best player to ever play in the NFL, and Brown was out of the league before he could reach his full potential.
Brown has had his fair share of things to say about Brady, and not a lot of them were great things after Brown left the Buccaneers. This happened to be his second stint playing with the all-time great quarterback.
The former star receiver has pushed his fair share of interesting quotes, and no one can decipher whether he actually appreciates Tom for the amount of things he did for him. With his latest quote, it seems he decided to praise Brady.
Brown was interviewed by Jason Whitlock, a former professional football player himself. In it, Brown stated that he believed that “the NFL didn’t want me to win with Tom Brady.” He also pointed out that it seems as though the league wanted him to be forever linked to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He went on to point out that he believed the league did not want the player to control their own careers, so it was brilliant that he rebelled against the league while getting himself released from the Steelers.

Brown, however, did end up taking home a Super Bowl ring after he joined Brady for the second time in his career after taking a spot on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers roster that ended up taking home Super Bowl 54 in 2021.
While he may not have officially retired from the NFL, Brown’s stats are still phenomenal for the 12 years he played. He accumulated over 12,000 yards and 88 touchdowns in 928 receptions while playing, and fans still wonder how much more he could have done.
