On Tuesday, Los Angeles Rams All-Pro defensive tackle Aaron Donald and Boston Celtics star guard Jaylen Brown announced they would be terminating their deal with Kanye West’s Donda Sports.
The decision comes after West made several recent antisemitic comments that resulted in the rapper being dropped by several major companies. Donald was the only known active NFL player to sign with Donda.
Not many people realized that wide receiver Antonio Brown had been named president of Donda Sports in February.
He would soon take to Twitter and release a statement.
When discussing his involvement with the Donda sports brand Brown said at the time, “I don’t think there’s a lot of fashion lines for athletes, wearing fashionable and comfortable clothes, so with a guy like Kanye West, being able to partner with him and work with him to provide more creative, genius ideas for fashion looks for athletes in general…I’m just grateful for the opportunity here soon, to share what we’ve got with the world.”

On Tuesday, Adidas dropped West over his remarks.
“Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech,” the company said in a statement Tuesday. “Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.”
