Antonio Brown has been taking some brutal shots at Tom Brady ever since the troubled wide receiver quit on his team during last year’s game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Jets.
At first it was just petty little things, but once word began to surface of Brady’s marital issues with Gisele Bundchen, AB’s trolling turned especially nasty.
Brown began taking ruthless shots at Brady, even going so far as to sell t-shirts featuring the troubled former wideout hugging Tom’s now-former wife:
All of these ruthless shots directed towards Brady had many wondering what exactly the seven-time Super Bowl champion did to deserve this treatment from the man he supposedly went to bat for in order to get him his final NFL job—when seemingly no one else wanted him at the time, including Bucs’ then-head coach Bruce Arians?
Patrick Bet-David was wondering the same thing, so he asked Antonio himself why he’s so mad at Brady, after all the QB has done for him. And, well, let’s just say that Brown’s answer didn’t make him sound like any less of a jerk…
In fact, you can’t help cringe at the pettiness of Brown after hearing him try to make sense of his recent actions towards Brady:

There you have it: Antonio Brown is acting like scum of the earth because “it is what it is.”
The more logical explanation, which Brown was apparently too afraid to give in this instance, is that Brown is simply trying to juice whatever final bits of fame he can muster by going after the most popular player in NFL history.
It makes sense, seeing as how the only other times Brown makes the news for these days—besides trolling Brady—is when he’s committing assault or exposing himself at public pools.
Simply put, Brown needed Brady through the final years of his NFL career. And he still needs him in his post-playing days… He’s just too afraid to admit it.
