Antonio Brown recently bought the Albany Empire of the Arena Football League where his father was a legendary wide receiver. Since he bought the team, there has been a wave of controversy.
He now plans to calm everything down by stepping on the field for his team.
Antonio Brown, the majority owner of the Albany Empire, plans to suit up and take the field at the next Albany Empire home game.
The two-time champion Empire are currently ranked 5th with one win and have lost the last three games. Brown stepping on the field could change that.
Brown hasn’t played a snap in the NFL since he jogged off the field in January 2022 during a game for the Buccaneers. After the game, coach Bruce Arians told reporters Brown was “no longer a Buc.”
Since his departure from Tampa Bay, Brown has had several off-field issues. Authorities issued an arrest warrant for Brown due to alleged unpaid child support.

Last October, Brown had to pay a delivery driver after an alleged attack.
Aside from his off-field difficulties, Brown was once a top NFL player. He was chosen for seven Pro Bowls. Brown topped the NFL in catches and receiving yards numerous times during his nine-year tenure with the Steelers.
In terms of career catches, yards, and receiving touchdowns, he ranks second in Steelers history.
