Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown has had his ups and downs during his playing time and after. Now it seems he has his eyes on going into coaching.
Over the weekend, Antonio Brown publicly urged the team’s head coach, Mike Tomlin, to consider ending his impressive 18-year stint with the organization. He stated concerns that a prolonged association might affect Tomlin’s status in the franchise’s history.
Brown has also been calling out Steelers offensive coordinator Matt Canada, recently stating, “Matt Canada is a horrific combination of being not only the worst, but also the most predictable play-caller in the NFL.”
Not only does he want him gone, but he wants to take his place.
On Thursday, Brown continued his push for his job as he shared a photoshopped image of him calling plays in the booth for the Steelers as his name is shown with “Steelers Offensive Coordinator”‘ under it.

Brown’s vocal opinion came on the heels of the Steelers’ resounding 30-6 defeat at the hands of the Houston Texans this past Sunday.
This season has proven to be a roller-coaster ride for the Steelers as they began the year with a home loss to the 49ers by a score of 30-7. They followed that up with two straight wins until they faced the Texans.
For Brown, he made his name in Pittsburgh as he hauled in 837 passes for 11,207 yards and 74 touchdowns in nine seasons.
