Throughout their football careers, Cam Newton has never had the opportunity to throw the football to Antonio Brown. Not even during they heydays at a Pro Bowl, as the two played out their primes in opposite conferences.
With the NFL careers of both polarizing superstars likely over, the chances of SuperCam and AB teaming up seemed as unlikely as ever…
That is until earlier today, when Brown sent out an offer to the former NFL MVP to see if he would be interested in joining his Arena League football team, the Albany Empire.
“If anybody seen [Cam Newton] let him know he haven’t thrown me a touchdown in a game yet and now we finally can make it happen,” the controversial wide receiver Tweeted out.
Of course, for those of you who have been living under a rock, Antonio Brown because the owner of the Empire this year. And he’s caused quite the stir in his position, resulting in several players and coaches quitting the team, including the former league MVP.
There has also been reports of AB’s team failing to pay some of their players, so it wouldn’t surprise me if Cam was a little skeptical about Brown’s $150,000 offer.

Brown has said he plans to suit up as an owner/player for the team this season. If he can get Cam Newton to join him, it should put a heck of a lot more butts in the seats in Albany.
