Antonio Brown knows an opportunity when he sees one. And, while he may never see another one in the NFL, it’s certainly not going to stop him from trying.
As you probably remember, AB flamed out of the league in one of the most dramatic fashions of all time, throwing his equipment into the stands during a sideline tirade, before running off the field at MetLife Stadium and into the sunset.
Brown was in the midst of his umpteenth chance with an NFL team, but not even playing with Tom Brady and winning Super Bowl titles could keep him happy and under control. So it’s unlikely that any team will even both taking a shot on talented-yet-much-maligned wideout.
Even the Kansas City Chiefs, who are suddenly desperate for some help at wideout after trading away Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins earlier today.

Of course, he didn’t directly call out the Chiefs. So I guess you could argue that Brown was actually shooting his shot at the entire league here. The timing of it all just so happens to suggest that he had Kansas City in mind when posting it.
Prior to his blow-up, Brown had 42 receptions for 545 yards and four touchdowns in seven appearances with the Bucs in 2021. There’s clearly still some juice left in the tank — you just have to deal with all of the other crap that comes with it.
