The four players who will be rated 99 overall in Madden 20 have been released, and surprisingly last year’s cover athlete Antonio Brown was not part of that select group.
The Oakland Raiders wide receiver was not happy about his rating, so he took to Twitter to voice his displeasure with Madden in a since-deleted Tweet:
“Madden shorted me on my check for the madden 19 cover now they short my ratings ♂️ 1111”
The Raiders new receiver has topped 100 receptions six consecutive times and has reached double-digit touchdowns four separate times in his career, leading the entire league with 12 just last season.
Brown doesn’t look like he”s lost a step from last season, so who knows why Madden didn’t rate him at 99. I’m sure the Raiders franchise couldn’t careless and would rather he deliver on the field as he’s always done to get this franchise back to the postseason and fight for a chance to win a Super Bowl.
