It appears Antonio Brown has his sights set on the Baltimore Ravens.
The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver made that very clear again this week when he posted a photo of himself in a Baltimore Ravens uniform on Twitter.
During a recent appearance on the “I Am Athlete” podcast, Brown revealed that he would like to be teammates with Lamar Jackson at some point in his career.
“Action Jackson,” Brown said when asked if he wants to play with Lamar. “Let’s give Lamar Jackson his flowers. … Shout-out Lamar Jackson. That’s it. Lamar Jackson is a great quarterback. Not only him throwing the ball, the dynamic of him playing, the excitement.”
Jackson loved the idea, but it is ultimately up to whether the front office or the head coach is willing to deal with a player who has had terrible exits from his three previous spots in a short amount of time.
The Buccaneers terminated Brown’s contract earlier this month after he removed his helmet and jersey and ran off the field during a 28-24 win over the New York Jets. He has been on a media tour ever since trying to tell his side of the story as well as expose the team for their wrongdoings.
