Former NFL star Antonio Brown has become more known for his off-the-field antics than his NFL career since he ran off the field as a member of the Tampa Bay Bucs.
This week, he changed the narrative around him with an amazing gesture.
Brown launched a fund for the victims and their families of the terror attack that took place in New Orleans in the wee hours of New Year’s Day.
Fourteen people were tragically killed and more than 30 others injured when the suspect, identified as Shamsud-Din Jabbar, drove a truck into a crowd of people on Bourbon Street.
He would be killed after he traded gunfire with responding officers.
Antonio Brown launched the GoFundMe on Thursday, raising more than $3,500 in the first few hours. It has since ballooned to an even bigger number.
Brown reshared the GoFundMe on Saturday, and the amount is now over $24,000.
