Could Antonio Brown actually make his way back into the NFL?
While controversial former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown focuses on being an owner National Arena League’s Albany Empire team, apparently some NFL teams are expressing “genuine” interest in him, his agent J.R. Rickert told CBS Sports.
“He is exploring the right fit,” Rickert said. “I think that he is a multi-talented individual who does everything at a high level, and whatever he commits to, he goes all in.”
Ricker is clearly trying to garner attention toward Brown’s debut for the arena football league.
Asked if he’s concerned Brown could face future NFL discipline in the event of a return to the league, Rickert said only that he’s “had a tremendously positive experience working with AB, and would hope that I (can) continue to be a strong advocate and advisor.”
That is truly shocking news as Brown has been the center of other drama several times throughout his NFL career.
He didn’t appear in any games for the Raiders after being traded from the Steelers, as he was released during the preseason. He appeared in one game for the Patriots during the 2019 season before being released for allegedly sending “intimidating text messages” to a woman who claimed Brown made a “unwanted sexual advance” on her in 2017.

The seven-time Pro-Bowler hasn’t played in the NFL since the 2021-22 season. He left on controversial terms after walking out of a game while playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Most recently, Brown was wanted by police for a misdemeanor battery charge back in December, but he chose to never step out of his home to be arrested, and the charges would eventually be dropped after the alleged victim took everything back.
