Seven-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Antonio Brown is again a free agent and making waves this week when he recently appeared on the “I Am Athlete Podcast” and discussed mental health, his former quarterback Tom Brady and other topics. When he was asked “who’s next in line” for him, Brown responded by saying “Lamar Jackson.”
“Lamar Jackson,” Brown said. “Action Jackson. Let’s give Lamar Jackson his flowers. Shout out to Lamar Jackson, that’s it. Lamar Jackson is a great quarterback.”
Jackson saw the news and responded like so:
The 33-year-old is recovering from ankle surgery, but has expressed interest in playing football again.
Brown has been tied to the Baltimore Ravens before, as his cousin Marquise Brown plays for the squad as well. Marquise even said he hoped Antonio would sign with the Ravens ahead of the 2020 season.

“A.B., he’s a guy that’s going to bring the best out of you,” Marquise said, via PennLive.com. “I feel like he could fit in this locker room. He’s a guy that’s competitive. He’s going to go out there and give 100 percent, and seeing stuff like that is going to make other guys want to do the same.
“I’ve been working out with A.B. since I was in college, so I know he’s a guy that’s going to push you. I learned a lot [from] him just about making sure everything is right. Even when you’re not injured, always work on yourself and always better yourself.”
Brown has found himself in the NFL’s spotlight in recent years, mostly because of controversies that has led to unceremonial exits from his last three teams.
The last time he was in an NFL game, Brown striped and walked off the field. Tampa Bay released him shortly after.
Brown has been signed to the Steelers, Raiders, Patriots and Buccaneers over his 12-year career.
