Antonio Brown has been on an apology tour for the past few weeks as he attempts to right all of his wrongs that he caused in 2019.
That tour hit a snag after the controversial WR made the SiriusXM staff very angry after issuing a list of demands before going on air for an interview, according to Page Six.
After doing that, he elected to not even show up to the interview and reportedly got dinner instead.
“Sources said Brown was supposed to appear on-air Wednesday evening, but refused to go on the network’s sports shows and would only agree to appear on its hip-hop shows to discuss his “rap career.”
“They made a huge deal over it,” said a source of Brown’s camp.
But then, we’re told, SiriusXM staffers were ready and waiting for Brown to show at 5:30 p.m. — but they waited and waited. The first sign they got that Brown wasn’t coming was when he posted on Instagram that he was getting dinner at Tao Downtown.
Reps for Brown didn’t get back to us. A SiriusXM rep said, “Sometimes bookings fall through. It happens. We don’t see the drama.”
Brown has been out of a job ever since the Patriots released him eleven days into his tenure with the franchise after he allegedly harassed a second woman for bringing to light his bad behavior off the field.
Nike has since terminated an endorsement deal with him, his agent has parted ways with him and he saw himself behind bars and hit with burglary and other charges last month in another incident.
