The drama that is the Oakland Raiders and Antonio Brown reached a crazy level when reports stated on Friday that Antonio brown referred to GM Mike Mayock as a ‘cracker’ during their verbal scuffle on the field.
Hours later, head coach Jon Gruden announced that AB would not be suspended and would be playing in Week 1 against the Denver Broncos.
Such a drastic change from what was being reported previously.
ESPN’s Dianna Russini would speak with AB about the situation and he denied a scuffle took place as well as the racial slur being used. He told her “everything has been blown out of proportion” and that he “spoke with Mike Mayock 1-on-10, man-to-man.”

Shortly after the reported confrontation, Brown had unfollowed Derek Carr as well as the Raiders on Instagram just 24 hours after the reported incident with Mayock. He was also held out of practice and wasn’t present at the team facilities as well.
Everything seemed to be for not as Brown is expected to be suited and ready to go to face the Denver Broncos.
