About a month ago, Antonio Brown cost himself three games because he used a fake vaccine card to get around Covid protocols during training camp. This time, he removed himself from a game and will cost himself possibly the rest of his NFL career…along with millions of dollars.
Late in the third quarter of the Jets-Buccaneers game, Brown ripped off his shoulder pads, took off his shirt and gloves, threw them into the crowd and gave a peace sign to the fans at MetLife Stadium before running into the tunnel.
Up to that point, the troubled and controversial Brown had caught three passes for 26 yards on five targets. No word on what exactly set him off, but it was likely the last straw for AB — not only in Tampa, but in the NFL in general.
Brown’s outburst also cost him a ton of money. A closer look at his contract shows that he was just a few more catches, yards and touchdowns away from cashing in on some significant cash incentives
According to Spotrac, AB needed just eight more catches, 55 more receiving yards and one more touchdown to rake in another million bucks.

Add that million dollars to all the possible future contract money Brown will no longer be making and you can easily say that outburst cost the diva wideout millions.
