Former NFL star Antonio Brown has revealed he’s signed with a popular record label as he looks to really kick his rap career off.
Twitter account @_MLFootball is reporting having learned from the erstwhile wide receiver himself that he is signing with Sony Music Entertainment’s Columbia Records, with his new album, ‘Stoic’, scheduled for release on September 1.
The seven-track album will feature a track with Lil Wayne called “Shoulder Pads,” according to Brown.
The 35-year-old teased a collab with Lil Wayne last year and it appears he’s finally set to deliver – though you just never know with AB.
Brown last played in the NFL in the 2021/22 season, a campaign in which he returned to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after helping them win a Super Bowl. He missed most of it with an ankle injury and, after returning, ran off the field during a game against the New York Jets in Week 17. He hasn’t set foot on an NFL field since.

A seven-time Pro Bowler, Brown will go down as one of the best wide receivers to ever play the game. But he has also been involved in his fair share of controversy, the latest being an arrest warrant issued in his name this week.
