Antonio Brown is in one of those moods again where he takes to social media and calls out the National Football League.
This time around, the controversial wide receiver was on Instagram where he posted a card sent to him from NFL commissioner Roger Goodell that wished him a happy birthday and captioned it, “What’s changed Rodger.”
Goodell told Brown that he was now a first-round pick and that he should “make us proud.” This was following a season where he posted 101 catches for a league-leading 1,533 receiving yards.
Two years later and the former sixth round pick out of Central Michigan is no longer in the NFL amid an investigation into allegations of sexual assault and rape by a former trainer. His behavior got him cut from the Raiders and another allegation got him released released by the New England Patriots prior to week 3 of the 2019 season. He has not seen any action since.
The New Orleans Saints previously brought him in for a workout before Week 17, but ultimately decided to sign someone else.
The NFL will likely conclude their investigation in the offseason and levy whatever discipline they decided to hand him.
