A judge has ordered Florida police to arrest Antonio Brown after ruling that the former NFL wide receiver missed yet another payment for child support.
TMZ, which cites Miami Dade County court documents, reports that the ruling was made on August 9 after Brown failed to pay his ex, Wiltrice Johnson, the sum of $15,000. Brown can avoid arrest if he pays, though he will have to cough up an additional $5,000 in lawyer fees.
“Florida cops have been ordered to arrest Antonio Brown once again … after a judge ruled he missed yet another child support payment,” the outlet reports.
This latest ruling marks the second one of its kind for 2023, with such an order being issued back in April after Brown failed to pay Jackson $30,000. He ended up paying it before he was arrested.
Antonio and Wiltrice have one daughter together, having dated during the early period of Brown’s NFL career. Their relationship has been a rocky one – Jackson alleged that the former wideout shoved her during a domestic dispute. He was never charged.
TMZ notes having reached out to a representative for Brown in search of a comment but had not received word back at the time of writing.
