For the second time in four months, an arrest warrant has been issued for former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown.
Per a report from TMZ, police in Florida have been told to arrest Brown after he missed another child support payment. He reportedly owes $15,000 to his ex-girlfriend, Wiltrice Jackson:
“According to Miami-Dade County court documents, the ruling was issued on Aug. 9 … after Brown apparently missed a $15,000 payment to his ex, Wiltrice Jackson.
Per the docs, Brown can have the order purged if he pays up … plus an additional $5,000 in attorney fees.”
As TMZ also noted, Brown was able to avoid jail time by paying the $30,000 he owed to Jackson following the issuing of the initial arrest warrant for for unpaid child support back in April.
It’s another sad and bizarre saga involving Brown and legal troubles. Once viewed as the best wide receiver in the league, Brown’s behavior (on and off the football field) quickly derailed a once-illustrious career.
Brown’s soured relationship with the Pittsburgh Steelers prompted the organization to trade him to the Oakland Raiders in 2019. But after clashing with GM Mike Mayock and other team staffers, Brown was released before ever playing a game for them.

Brown then signed with New England and caught a touchdown in his Patriots debut. He was released after one game after two women accused him of sexual misconduct. In the 2020 offseason, the NFL handed Brown an eight-game suspension.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers received plenty of heat for bringing Brown on their roster following his suspension. He helped them win a Super Bowl 55 ring and re-signed for one more year in 2021, but he was released after the club’s Week 17 game against the New York Jets following a heated disagreement with coaches on the sidelines.
In that game, Brown took off his jersey and ran off the field during the game. Earlier this year, Brown announced his retirement from football.
Brown’s latest bit of drama now has NFL fans calling him out for being a “Dead Beat.” Here’s how fans responded to AB’s newest legal issues on social media:
