Is Antonio Brown breaking news right now?
On Friday, the controversial wide receiver took to Twitter to state that he is not only returning to the NFL, but he is doing so as a member of the AFC North. Brown made the announcement on Twitter that he’s “excited to return to the NFL” with the hashtag RavensFlock afterward and a picture of him in a Baltimore Ravens jersey.
It’s worth noting that none of the league’s top reporters have addressed or acknowledged Brown signing with the Ravens or the post itself at the time of publication.
Brown’s return would be a crazy but not unlikely move for the former All-Pro. He’s tried numerous times to make some sort of NFL comeback.
No team has really tried to touch him ever since he stripped off his pads and ran off the field as a member of the Tampa Bay Bucs.
This offseason, the Ravens have loaded up on weapons for Lamar Jackson after he signed a new five-year deal to remain with the team as the NFL’s highest-paid player.

They signed Odell Beckham Jr. to a one-year deal and then used their first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft to select Boston College receiver, Zay Flowers.
It’s hard to know if Brown is serious or if he trying to drum up interest for teams to sign him.
The 33-year-old was a four-time First-team All-Pro (2014-17), a Second-team All-Pro in 2013, and a seven-time Pro Bowl selection (2011, 2013-18), having led all NFL players in receiving yards twice (2014, 2017), receptions twice (2014, 2015) and receiving touchdowns in 2018.
