Back in April, the Colts selected Florida Gators quarterback Anthony Richardson in Round 1 of the 2023 NFL Draft with the No. 4 overall pick. Four months later, the team wasted no time in announcing that he would begin the 2023 season as the unquestioned starter in his rookie year.
Richardson has been making waves in training camp, and it has Colts fans and teammates excited.
This week, he is going viral after Vido showed him throw an insanely accurate pass while jumping in the air and throwing across his body.

Richardson is known for his athletic ability, as he became the most athletic quarterback to ever go through the NFL Combine earlier this year. He recorded a 40.5-inch vertical leap, which the NFL’s research department said was the highest for a quarterback since at least 2003.
While Richardson’s athleticism could immediately translate to the next level, he has some work to do as an NFL-level passer. He tied Mitch Trubisky in having the fewest career college starts by a first-round pick since 2000 with 13.
The franchise is hoping he can be the guy to finally make them stop searching for the franchise QB that could replace Andrew Luck.
Richardson finished the 2022 season with a 53.8 pass completion percentage, 2,549 passing yards, 17 touchdowns, and nine interceptions.
