Former NFL player Anthony Chickillo, who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, has found himself in some legal trouble.
The former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker was tased by police this week after police said he had an episode inside of a doctor’s office, according to TMZ.
“According to the Hialeah Police Department, Chickillo was at the Hialeah Hospital in Hialeah, Fla. on Thursday morning … when witnesses say he suddenly snapped and began “trashing” an office, breaking things and throwing chairs,” TMZ Sports reported.
“Cops say the former football player then allegedly “tried to attack everybody” — before he got into a wrestling match with his dad.”
Footage shows Chickillo being shirtless and barefoot while being handcuffed, though he was reportedly not arrested and is not facing any charges by anybody at the doctor’s office.

The former NFL linebacker’s girlfriend would state to TMZ that it was “It was just a medical situation,” Tatu Baby explained.
He reportedly suffers from bipolar disorder, which she claims dates back to a concussion suffered when he played football.
Chickillo had a run-in with the law in 2019 for a domestic issue with his girlfriend, but the charges were dropped after she refused to testify against him.
In 2021, six years after the Pittsburgh Steelers drafted Chickillo, he announced his retirement.
