The Philadelphia Eagles desperately needed secondary help. Jalen Ramsey was reportedly being shopped as he wanted to get out of Jacksonville.
Ramsey got traded out of Jacksonville, but not to the Eagles.
The Jaguars shipped two first-round picks and a fourth-round pick to the Rams in exchange for Ramsey, who had, according to published reports, been a target of the Eagles since his displeasure with the franchise.
For at least one player on the team who likely speaks for a lot of them, this is a move that should’ve happened with the eagles and he decided to call the franchise out for dropping the ball, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
“#Eagles player to me on Jalen Ramsey going to the #Rams: “We dropped the ball. I don’t even want to talk about that (!@#^). Everybody knew what it was going to take to get him. I could’ve told you that.”

In his first three seasons with the Jaguars, Ramsey had 193 tackles, 9 INTs, and an impressive 44 pass breakups. The fact that he’s just 24-years-old makes this even more impressive. The Rams are likely to lock him with a huge contract to keep him in town for many more years.
For the Eagles, they sit at 3-3 and coming off an 18-point loss to the Vikings in which they allowed four touchdown passes, which makes 13 TDs allowed this season, fifth-most in the league.
The Eagles are 1 of 6 NFL teams that hasn’t had a single Pro Bowl cornerback over the last eight seasons.
