Fan is short for fanatic, and that was proven with a below letter from one of them.
One person who is clearly a huge fan of Tua Tagovailoa had finally got enough of ESPN’s Adam Schefter and the way he pronounces his name on TV. Schefter shared a photo of the letter over Twitter where the fan addresses him and fellow ESPN reporter Field Yates.
The guy, who claims to be a retired radio/TV announcer and voiceover artist, scolds Schefter and Yates for “routinely fuck up” the pronunciation of Tagovailoa. He then called them both assholes and also calls Mike Greenberg an a-hole.
Schefter went on to prove the guy wrong by posting a video of Tua pronouncing his name out.
