This week’s Sunday Night Football matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has been a good one. Through the first half of play, Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady each had multiple touchdown passes as the two teams combined for 45 points…
But the biggest star of the half was clearly Andy Reid.
The Chiefs head coach had NFL fans going wild on social media when he made a surprise appearance on a new State Farm commercial, which debuted during the game.
In the ad, Reid is seen drawing mustaches on the faces of his players in an attempt to “get personal” with them. One of the victims just so happeed to be his quarterback, Patrick Mahomes.
Looks like Mahomes was able to bring his coach aboard the State Farm team. That should earn him a few extra fourth-down tries this season.
I’m not sure if this was Mahomes’ idea or State Farms, but it seems to have worked, as social media was going wild after seeing Andy Reid in the commercial.

You know what they say. Any publicity is good publicity. And the Andy Reid State Farm commercial was getting a ton of “good publicity” on Twitter.
