During the Chiefs-Browns divisional playoff game on Sunday, there was a brief moment showed on TV of Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill shoving one of his coaches.
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid addressed the incident on Monday, stating that the confrontation wasn’t as bad as people think it was.
He said that the two will tell anyone that they were “just messing around.”
“They were messing around,” Reid said. “I know how it came off, but if you look at a minute later, they’re laughing over there. If you talk to both of them, they’ll tell you they were just messing around.”
Hill had nothing to be upset about on this day as he had eight catches on 10 targets for a team-leading 110 receiving yards in the 22-17 win.
