Today was just stunner of a day after Andrew Luck was said to be retiring from the National Football League.
The news came down while Luck was on the sidelines with his teammates, who had no clue what was going on. The fans surely knew and greeted him with boos when he made his final walk off the field and into the locker room.
When he got to his press conference, he formally announced his retirement and was understandbly choked up as he thanked friends and family.
He told reporters that it was not an easy decision but his injuries have “taken the joy of this game away.”
The 29-year-old signal-caller has been plagued by injuries throughout his career and it finally became too much.
