Andrew Luck’s abrupt and sudden retirement not only shocked the sports world, but it shocked his bank account as well.
The now-former Indianapolis Colts quarterback announced he was hanging up his cleats for good and with that retirement, he will forfeit nearly $60 million in future earnings and that isn’t including endorsement money.
On top of that, he was scheduled to receive a $6 million roster bonus on September 17th that he will also forfeit.
According to Spotrac, Luck has made slightly over $97 million since entering the league in 2012.
