Who says fullbacks aren’t a thing in the NFL anymore?
If you firmly believe that, allow Andrew Beck of the Houston Texans to prove you wrong.
In one of the strangest plays you’ll ever see, the Texans’ fullback muffed the kickoff return. He picked it back up then inexplicably outran Jacksonville’s kickoff team (these guys are supposed to be fast, by the way), for an 85-yard touchdown:
Just how DeMeco Ryans and company drew it up!
Beck entered the game with one career receiving touchdown, which he recorded in his rookie year with the Denver Broncos.
He’s only 27 years of age, but it’s impossible to imagine Beck ever topping that play. This will unquestionably go down as the best moment of his career.
