The Kansas Chiefs have been the most successful team in recent years, having won two Super Bowls over the last four seasons. But they’re yet to win two in a row, which is what Andy Reid will be gunning for in 2023.
As such, ESPN’s Matt Miller has suggested that the team should make a move for a defensive tackle, naming Poona Ford as a specific signing.
“Next move for the Chiefs should probably be DT,” Miler tweeted on Friday. “Would LOVE to see Poona Ford in there next to Chris Jones.”
Some fans are in agreement with the notion but one pointed out that the Chiefs should probably go after a wide receiver.
“Or you know a WR because they only have three guys in that room right now,” they replied, given that Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Skyy Moore, and Kadarius Toney are the main wideouts on the current roster.
JuJu Smith Schuster helped the Chiefs win the Super Bowl in February but has already signed a deal with the New England Patriots.

KC has been named among teams looking to sign Odell Beckham Jr., with the WR ready to kick off his return tour after missing all of 2022/23 due to injury.
To be fair, though, Ford does seem like a promising signing.
The 27-year-old South Carolina native joined the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2018 and started 11 games for the franchise, making 21 tackles, 13 of them on his own.
He started 14 games in his second year and has started all 17 these last two terms. Ford registered 35 total tackles, two passes defended, and three sacks for Seattle in 2022.
