Those who were watching Thursday Night Football between the Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Rams were left in shock on a couple of occasions.
For starters, there was the way the actual game played out, with the Rams and Baker Mayfield erasing a 16-3 fourth quarter deficit to emerge with the thrilling 17-16 comeback victory on their home turf…less than 48 hours after Baker joined the team, no less!
But that wasn’t all.
Those watching Baker and the Rams’ magnificent comeback may have also noticed something following the Rams’ first of two fourth quarter touchdowns.
After Rams kicker Matt Gay put the extra point through the uprights, as Amazon was cutting to a break in the action, those still tuned in may have recognized the tune playing in the background.

That’s right. The song they were playing going into the break was none other than NWA’s controversial hit, “F-ck Tha Police.”
It was a shocking song choice from the Amazon producers for a prime time football game. Twitter felt the same way, and they reacted accordingly:
It’s understandable that the Amazon crew would think an NWA song fits the theme of a Raiders-Rams game, as the group helped bring fame to the Raiders when the team played in L.A. during the 80s and early 90s.
At the same time, the group has plenty of other hits to choose from. You can’t help but think that “Straight Outta Compton” would have been a better choice than “F-ck Tha Police” in this instance.
