The good folks on Amazon Prime Video’s “Thursday Night Football” production team certainly won some extra points with their crafty graphic work today.
During Thursday night’s contest between the Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium, Prime Video destroyed Brandon Staley’s group with a hilarious graphic that read, “chargering” on a sheet.
The definition of “chargering”, according to Prime Video, means “To lose in heartbreaking fashion”:

Indeed, no NFL franchise has been more snake-bitten over the past 20 or so years than the Chargers. This team has found countless incredible ways to lose close games, but at least tonight’s blowout is shaping up to be a not-so-heartbreaking defeat.
Hard to call it heartbreaking when you’re down by six scores in the second quarter, after all…
