Xavien Howard is definitely the one guy on the Miami Dolphins who is in the long-term plans for the franchise, especially after they signed him to a record five-year, $76.5 million extension that includes $46M guaranteed, making him the highest paid CB in the NFL.
He did not earn his money this past Sunday. He was really bad at his job to say the least.
Howard was not able to contain any receiver he was matched with, and that included Amari Cooper who scored two touchdowns.
One particular play in the game shows the Cowboys WR running a gorgeous route that left Howard in the dust and made him look rather foolish.
For the day, Cooper caught six passes for 88 yards and two touchdowns.
“I didn’t have my best game, this game,” Howard said. “I’m very frustrated with everything that’s going on right now.”
