When the Dallas Cowboys gave up a first-round pick to acquire wide receiver Amari Cooper from the Oakland Raiders, they were laughed at throughout the NFL and on social media for going after a guy who drops the ball as much as he does.
That laughter turned into amazement after he caught 53 passes for 725 yards and six touchdowns to lead the team straight into the playoffs. He then added 7 catches for 106 yards against the Seattle Seahawks to give the franchise a much needed playoff win, something that has been hard to come by since 1996.
The Cowboys season is now over and Cooper has just one more year on his current deal. According to his recent purchase, he has every plan of staying put in Dallas for a long time.
He recently showed off this sick Cuban chain that he had customized to look like his Cowboys jersey.
Via TMZ:
We’re told the jersey — valued at $65k — was part of Cooper’s recent bling haul, complete with a 45-carat Cuban chain and 15-carat bracelet … worth $140k total!!
