WThe Cleveland Browns may be without one of their star offensive weapons for Week 2’s road contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night.
Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Cleveland head coach Kevin Stefanski revealed that Cooper suffered a hamstring injury in practice, and he’s questionable for Monday.
The Browns and Steelers play in the second of two Monday night games this week (8:15 p.m. EST). The New Orleans Saints will visit the Carolina Panthers (7:15 p.m. EST) in the first Monday night contest.
Cleveland is coming off a convincing 24-3 win over Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals at home, while the Steelers are looking to rebound from an ugly 30-7 home loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
The 29-year-old Cooper caught three passes for 37 yards in Cleveland’s win. In his first year with the Browns last year, the four-time Pro Bowler recorded 78 receptions for 1,160 yards and a career-high nine touchdowns.
