The Giants experienced a scary moment at Wednesday’s practice.
Cornerback Amani Oruwariye was placed on a backboard and carted off the field. He was then loaded into an ambulance and presumably taken to a local hospital.
According to multiple media reports, the practice squad cornerback was involved in a violent collision during a special teams drill.

The 27-year-old was a fifth-round pick of the Detroit Lions out of Penn State back in 2019. In 2021, he recorded six interceptions in 14 games (all starts).
Oruwariye started 27 games for the Lions before the Giants signed him this offseason to a one-year contract.
