When it comes to amateur sports, the NCAA makes it clear that they want to make millions of dollars off the backs of student-athletes, but they are not allowed to profit one cent from their skill or likeness.
What doesn’t help is when the NCAA tries to justify this fact by sending out ridiculous things like giving players free WiFi.

What makes the tweet even worse is that hotels typically offer free WiFi to all of their guests anyway. This tweet makes it seem like the NCAA went out of their way to purchase the WiFi and give it to the athletes.
