It was only a matter of time before footage was released of the brutal attack by New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara and his crew, which left one man in Las Vegas with serious injuries back in February.
Kamara was in Vegas for the Pro Bowl when he allegedly got into an altercation with Darnell Greene at Drai’s nightclub.
The incident took place at the Cromwell Hotel and Casino on February 5. According to Greene’s lawsuit against Kamara, he was attacked when he tried to get onto the elevator with the Pro Bowl running back and his crew.
Via TMZ:
Greene alleged he tried to get on the lift with Kamara and Kamara’s associates. But, he claimed in his suit the football player barred him from getting on by “throwing his arm across Greene’s chest,” and then brutally attacking him.
Now, there’s footage showing exactly what went down. In it, you can see Kamara attack Greene, throwing several punches before the rest of his crew jumped in and attacked the victim while he was on the ground.

The video is not a good look for Kamara, although sources connected to the Saints running back claim that the footage doesn’t tell the entire story. Rather, they say that it was Greene who became violent first, resulting in the ensuing altercation between the parties.
It will be interesting to see how the NFL responds to the release of this footage. As we’ve seen in the past, the release of video evidence has often caused Roger Goodell and the league’s front office to speed up their punishment for off-the-field offenses.
Through eight games this season, Kamara’s Saints stand at 3-5. The star running back has played in six of those games, accumulating 413 rushing yards, 287 receiving yards and three total touchdowns.
