Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews announced in May that they’re expecting a second child.
On Sunday, Brittany gave an update to her growing belly by posting several photos from the field at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, prior to her husband’s week one game against the Cardinals.
The young parents started out as high school sweethearts in Whitehouse, Texas. Although they would part ways in college, with Brittany playing soccer at the University of Texas at Tyler, they would eventually come back together.
The quarterback proposed to his longtime love in September 2020 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. Weeks later, the couple announced that they were expecting a child together.

They welcomed Sterling in February 2021 and exchanged vows in March 2022.
As for the rest of their Sunday afternoon, it went pretty well, as Patrick threw for 360 yards and five touchdowns during a convincing 44-21 road victory.
