The last time we saw Alex Smith on a football field, he was laid out on the field with a gruesome leg injury that would ultimately end his 2018 season and put the remainder of his career in doubt.
The Washington Redskins QB suffered a fractured Tibia and Fibula on top of suffering from complications that went awry. He hadn’t been seen in public since that November game.
That was until Martin Luther King Jr. day when Smith came out in good spirits to see the Wizards play a game. While he looked happy, the contraption on his leg looked absolutely frightening.
I’m quite sure Smith won’t be ready for OTA’s later this year.
