Alex Collins had way more life to give.
The veteran running back just wanted his chance to prove that he can make it back to the NFL and sadly, it will never happen.
On Monday, it was announced by the Baltimore Ravens that the 28-year-old had tragically passed away.
Officials did not share the cause of Collins’ death.
Collins, who starred for the Arkansas Razorbacks in while in college, played five seasons in the National Football League. He spent three seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, the team that drafted him in the 5th round of the 2016 NFL Draft, and the other two seasons with the Ravens.
His last played year in the NFL was in 2021 with the Seattle Seahawks. In that year, Collins finishes with 411 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns this season along with nine catches for 87 yards.

He was playing in the USFL for the Memphis Showboats this past 2023 spring season.
