It looks opponents weren’t the only ones turned off by JuJu Smith-Schuster doing TikTok dances on the field before games.
This week, the Baltimore Ravens signed Alejandro Villanueva to a two-year deal. The deal is for $14 million and includes $8 million that is fully guaranteed.
At one point while speaking to Baltimore media via video conference Wednesday, the two-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle acknowledged that facing the Steelers twice a season was a motivating factor in joining Baltimore.
“It wasn’t really a tough decision,” Villanueva told reporters of signing with the Ravens. “Everybody from top bottom was pretty awesome.”
“When you see Lamar Jackson play,” Villanueva told Baltimore reporters, “you want to do everything for him, protect him and continue to see the magic that he displays on the field.”
He also appeared to take a shot at former teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Steelers receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster created a ton of controversy last season with pregame dances posted to social media that included him dancing on opponent logos. It was never an issue when teh team was 11-0, but as soon as they started losing, opponents began using it as motivation and calling him out on it.
Smith-Schuster, who eventually stopped the pregame dances, and Villanueva were teammates for four seasons with the Steelers.
Much like Villanueva — Schuster was also offered a contract by the Ravens, but he turned them down and took less to return to the Steelers for $8 million.
