Alec Baldwin is the last person who should ever speak on workplace safety as he continues to deal with the fallout of him allegedly shooting a woman to death on the set of one of his movies.
Baldwin is the latest to speak out about a now-viral video showing former NFL player Brendan Langley brutally beating up a United Airlines worker at a ticketing counter. While Langley was later arrested for assault, the unnamed airline employee was fired.
TMZ noted that the airline employee might have been the one to strike first, but Baldwin disagreed.
On Instagram, he called the United Airlines worker a “victim.”
“The guy working at the airport is the victim. He came to work to do a job,” Baldwin wrote. “The other guy, with his big mouth, is guilty of workplace abuse, where people come to work with an expectation of safety, even civility. This a – – hole who hit this guy should be put on a no-fly list.”
