Watching last night’s Thursday Night Football battle between the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos was hard enough. Just imagine having to commentate it!
Unfortunately for Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit, they were tasked with calling last night’s contest on Amazon Prime. And to say that Michaels was dreading it would be an understatement.
Fans noticed several jabs that the longtime play-by-play analyst directed towards the two teams during the Colts’ 12-9 overtime victory.
There was his comment about this game having the caliber of a “fifth regional on CBS on Sunday”:
His sarcastic tone when there was finally a red zone possession:

The fans tuning in couldn’t help but notice Michaels cries for help, and he oftentimes seemed like he just wanted this game to end already.
