No one seems to know exactly when and where we’ll be seeing Al Michaels on our television screens again, but if his comments during yesterday’s intro were any indication, Super Bowl LVI will be the last we see of Michaels and Cris Collinsworth together on an NBC Football Night In America broadcast.
During Collinsworth’s patented “slide in,” Michaels dropped the ultimate hint regarding his future when he said, “Come sliding in here for one final time.”
