AJ Armstrong has finally found out his after three trials.
On Wednesday afternoon, Antonio ‘A.J.’ Armstrong Jr., the son of former NFL linebacker Antonio Armstrong Sr., was found guilty of murdering both his parents in 2016. He was only 16 at the time and had already been through two trials already that ended with a hung jury. Armstrong shot both of his parents while they were sleeping. His mother, Dawn, was shot twice in the head. Both parents were shot with a pillow over their heads.
The 16-year-old was kicked out of high school for smoking marijuana and his parents had scolded him for using drugs. Armstrong said he had seen a man fleeing their home, but there were no recordings of that from the home security.
Upon arrival, cops noticed the murder weapon in the kitchen and a note saying, “I have been watching you for a long time. Come get me.”
The now 23-yar-old who is married and has a child was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 40 years.

“During week one, the state took up all five days, speaking to more than 20 witnesses and showcasing hundreds of text messages between A.J., his parents, and his girlfriend, which showed him lying, setting a fire at his home, getting in trouble at school, sneaking out of the house, making bad grades and smoking marijuana.
We also saw emotion from A.J. during the first week, and the mood of the courtroom changing when his parent’s autopsy photos were shown to the jury. He visibly started crying. The prosecutors went to great lengths to only let the jury see the photos.”
Armstrong was emotionless as the verdict was handed down to him. He was immediately remanded into custody after Wednesday’s verdict was announced.
Antonio Armstrong Sr. was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the 6th round of the 1995 NFL Draft. The former Texas A&M graduate also played for the 49ers, and Rams in the NFL before taking his talents to the CFL and playing with BC Lions and Winnipeg.
