With AI growing in popularity and looking like it’s set to take over every aspect of design in the coming years, folks are having some fun with it.
As such, an NFL fan tasked the technology to reimagine the mascot for every team. And, to put things mildly, it didn’t turn out well. While the designs were perfect and, you could say, clever, you don’t want your kids ever seeing them.
Hell, they might freak you out too.
Miami Dolphins fan Garry Gates has shared a thread showing the mascot for every team in the league, but with a scary twist. He admits it was probably a bad idea too.
Garry starts with the AFC East, showcasing a New England Patriots mascot you do not want to meet in a dark alley while the New York Jets mascot is reminiscent of The Great Gazoo from the old Flintstones cartoons.
The AFC North is no better, with the Cincinnati Bengals rep looking more like what you would see if they made a horror film with Garfield. The Pittsburgh Steelers one just looks like a sex toy.

The Tennessee Titans one in the AFC South appears very alien.
Trust us… it gets worse. Check out the AFC West.

Fortunately for all NFL fans, none of these will ever come to life. Or so we hope…
Garry has suggested that he should try the NBA mascots next. Guy just doesn’t learn…
