One of the AFC’s premier clubs is being linked to Tennessee Titans star running back Derrick Henry, who’s slated to enter the free agent market for the first time in his career.
Speaking on Saturday’s edition of SportsCenter (h/t Matt Audilet of Athlon Sports), ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports that that the Baltimore Ravens have “done all the homework on the top” free agent RBs. Fowler noted that the Ravens could be a landing spot for the two-time rushing champion:
“I was told from multiple sources that he’s not expected to return to the Titans. It looks like he’s going to have some interest elsewhere and will go sign with a contender. Baltimore is a team I’ve heard a little bit of. They’ve done all the homework on the top running backs. If they find the right price, he could be in the AFC North.”
Baltimore’s top two running backs, Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins, are both pending free agents as well. At 30 years of age, Henry will presumably want to land with a team that gives him a chance to compete for a Super Bowl.

So the Ravens certainly make sense as a possible destination for the 2020 Offensive Player of the Year, who finished second in yards on the ground (1,167) last season behind only Christian McCaffrey of the San Francisco 49ers.
