Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams is one of the biggest names to monitor on the trade market between now and the Nov. 5 trade deadline.
Davante Adams was the subject of trade rumors throughout the 2023 season as the Raiders’ offense struggled. But the future Hall of Famer continued to produce like a superstar, and a strong finish under head coach Antonio Pierce (after he replaced Josh McDaniels) cooled off the Adams trade rumors.
But if Raiders GM Tom Telesco gets an offer he can’t refuse, Adams will again be on the move. And there certainly shouldn’t be a shortage of teams interested in landing the perennial Pro Bowler.
Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report proposed a massive three-team trade proposal that has the Raiders dealing Davante Adams to the New York Jets in a move involving the Cleveland Browns.
In Knox’s proposal, the Raiders would get the Jets’ 2025 first-round selection and Pro Bowl wideout Amari Cooper from the Browns. In return, Cleveland would receive the Jets’ 2025 third-round pick and Pro Bowl offensive tackle Tyron Smith:
“The New York Jets are hoping to make a Super Bowl run with a healthy Aaron Rodgers this season. While the Jets have strengthened Rodgers’ supporting cast this offseason, pairing him with his former favorite Green Bay Packers target, Davante Adams, would certainly aid the cause…
Smith is expected to start at left tackle in New York this season, but the first-round selection of Olumuyiwa Fashanu gives the Jets an alternative. The Browns could use the veteran insurance, as tackles Jedrick Wills Jr., Jack Conklin and Dawand Jones are all returning from season-ending injuries.
And while losing Cooper would be a blow to the Browns offense, Cleveland has a promising group of young wideouts that includes Elijah Moore, Jerry Jeudy, David Bell, Cedric Tillman Jr. and Jamari Thrash.”

Cooper is holding out as he eyes an extension. The former Raider and Dallas Cowboys star is entering the final year of his contract. If the Browns aren’t willing to give it, then Cooper will also be someone to follow in trade talks.
Jets Are The Ideal Landing Spot For Davante Adams
If there’s one team that stands out as a logical landing spot for Davante Adams, it’s Aaron Rodgers’ New York Jets.
Not only did Adams and Rodgers form one of the greatest tandems ever in Green Bay, but the former fits New York’s win-now timeline. The Raiders aren’t close to contending, whereas the Jets are trying to compete for a championship while Rodgers is here.
An offense with Rodgers, Adams, Garrett Wilson, Allen Lazard and Breece Hall could easily be the best in football. Add it all up, and the Jets feel like the best landing spot for Adams in a possible trade.
