In 2018, Adrian Peterson proved he could still get it done as a top running back when he rushed for over 1,000 yards last season for the first time since 2015.
Peterson averaged 4.2 yards per carry and appeared in all 16 games for the Washington Redskins, with many people thinking the team would most likely bring him back.
In addition to Washington, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network expects the Chicago Bears to take a look at Peterson as well.
Tom Pelissero later added that Brad Childress is expected to join Nagy’s staff which would make the Peterson connection even stronger.
Reports out there suggests that the Bears are looking to make a major change at running back and Peterson could be the most inexpensive way to get that done this offseason.
